How does the college treat students who are gay or pro-choice? Since it's Catholic, isn't it against the values?

Saint Mike's is a Catholic College and founded on Catholic beliefs. However, that is not the only thing that defines us- we are so much more. One of our biggest clubs on campus is Common Ground, which works to educate the community about issues concerning homosexuality, to create a safe and supportive environment for all students and to sponsor workshops, panels and speakers which address issues of concern within the LGBT community. If you are pro-choice, then that is your opinion and will be respected and accepted.
Saint Mike's treats all of its students the same, welcoming them into a supportive and warm enviornment. Everyone in the SMC community- whether it be students, faculty, or staff, strive to make Saint Mike's a place of diverstiy and acceptance for all, no matter what.

In addition to this, SMC just released a "It Get's Better Video," speaking of acceptance and respect within not only SMC Athletics, but SMC family in general. It is absolutely amazing, so I would definitely check that out as well.
