It actually depends on the First Year Sem that you choose!! There are 15 or so choices on First Year Seminars, from writing memoirs about yourself in the Examined Life to our newest Seminar, Horses and Healing. With my Seminar, Peace and Justice, we met three times a week, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 1-2:05. Some Seminars will only meet twice a week on Tuesday/ Thursday. All Seminars run about an hour and five minutes :)
