Usually, applications for RA are available in the spring semester and
you have to go through an intense interview process as well, where Res
Life will consider factors such as your GPA, your involvement in
school-related functions, your dedication, positive attitude, and being
an involved member of the SMC community. You can only start applying for
RA positions going into your sophomore year and being chosen as an RA
would also replace any work study job that you had.
